Dear families,
Convinced that our role as teachers goes far beyond the simple transmission of academic knowledge. For me, being a teacher means having the immense responsibility of preparing today's children to become tomorrow's responsible, caring and dynamic adults.
I firmly believe that education must not only develop students' intellectual skills, but also cultivate their human values. I strive to encourage critical thinking, mutual respect and empathy in my classes, creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment. My pedagogical approach is based on caring, creativity and commitment, aiming to inspire each student to reach his or her full potential.
Known for my positive energy and dedication, I'm proud to have made a significant impact on the lives of many children and families. I continue to develop my skills by attending educational conferences, ensuring that I stay abreast of best practices and pedagogical innovations.
Welcome, families!
My name is Katie Bouldin, and I am excited to join The French School team.
I taught in public elementary schools for five years, and I have worked in other educational environments as well.
I love to read, and I hope to also inspire my students through reading.
My family is still quite new to South Carolina, and we have greatly enjoyed exploring our new state.
We love to travel and play with our two wonderful (and spoiled) dogs.
I look forward to working with the students and families of The French School!
Hello everyone !
I am originally from Westchester County, NY, where I attended the College of New Rochelle, majoring in Psychology and Elementary Education. My passion is children and education.
After graduation, I worked in the psychology field doing behavioral health. After a family reunion, where I had two cousins who were Flight Attendants for American Airlines, they convinced me to apply. I flew for 10 years out of JFK International, with Paris being one of my favorite destinations. I retired after 9/11 to start a family in Charlotte, NC.
I have taught at a Greek Charter School, a Catholic School Special Needs class, and as a substitute Spanish Teacher, as well as substituted in public schools and private preschools. My first preschool class is now entering their junior year of college!
When I am not working with kids, you may find me on a soccer field refereeing. I am a HS Certified Referee and a United States Soccer Federation Referee (USSF).
I am the proud Mom of Christopher and Steven, who will be attending Clemson University.
