ASK FOR A TOUR !
Dear families,
Convinced that our role as teachers goes far beyond the simple transmission of academic knowledge. For me, being a teacher means having the immense responsibility of preparing today's children to become tomorrow's responsible, caring and dynamic adults.
I firmly believe that education must not only develop students' intellectual skills, but also cultivate their human values. I strive to encourage critical thinking, mutual respect and empathy in my classes, creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment. My pedagogical approach is based on caring, creativity and commitment, aiming to inspire each student to reach his or her full potential.
Known for my positive energy and dedication, I'm proud to have made a significant impact on the lives of many children and families. I continue to develop my skills by attending educational conferences, ensuring that I stay abreast of best practices and pedagogical innovations.
Welcome, families!
My name is Katie Bouldin, and I am excited to join The French School team.
Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Education Science. I taught in public elementary schools for five years, and I have worked in other educational environments as well.
I love to read, and I hope to also inspire my students through reading.
My family is still quite new to South Carolina, and we have greatly enjoyed exploring our new state.
We love to travel and play with our two wonderful (and spoiled) dogs.
I look forward to working with the students and families of The French School!
Hello Everyone!
My name is Pamela Garrett, and I am so excited to be a part of the French School!
I graduated from The University of South Carolina-Upstate with a bachelor's in Early Childhood Education in 2012. I also hold a primary Montessori certification from The Center for Guided Montessori Studies in Sarasota, Florida, and an Early Literacy certification from Clemson University. I spent 10 years in public education teaching pre -k, kindergarten, first grade, third grade, and reading intervention before taking some time to support my husband in his military career.
I am so excited to be back in the classroom and teaching! My passion has always been fostering literacy and engaging children in ways that encourage them to pursue learning as a life long hobby.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and dog, and watching football with my nephew. I am also a lover of travel and all things water!
I am so happy to be a part of this team and to be able to work with the fabulous families at The French School.
The French School is an independent, French-American bilingual school serving an international community of students from K4 (Early Childhood Education) to 5th grade in Greenville.
