ASK FOR A TOUR !
Dear families,
Convinced that our role as teachers goes far beyond the simple transmission of academic knowledge. For me, being a teacher means having the immense responsibility of preparing today's children to become tomorrow's responsible, caring and dynamic adults.
I firmly believe that education must not only develop students' intellectual skills, but also cultivate their human values. I strive to encourage critical thinking, mutual respect and empathy in my classes, creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment. My pedagogical approach is based on caring, creativity and commitment, aiming to inspire each student to reach his or her full potential.
Known for my positive energy and dedication, I'm proud to have made a significant impact on the lives of many children and families. I continue to develop my skills by attending educational conferences, ensuring that I stay abreast of best practices and pedagogical innovations.
Welcome, families!
My name is Katie Bouldin, and I am excited to join The French School team.
Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Education Science. I taught in public elementary schools for five years, and I have worked in other educational environments as well.
I love to read, and I hope to also inspire my students through reading.
My family is still quite new to South Carolina, and we have greatly enjoyed exploring our new state.
We love to travel and play with our two wonderful (and spoiled) dogs.
I look forward to working with the students and families of The French School!
Dear Families,
My name is Elizabeth Mezzacapo, and I am thrilled to serve as the K4–K5 teacher at The French School.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Learning Disabilities and earned my Master's of Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. I have spent five years teaching in public education as a special education resource teacher, supporting students across grade levels and collaborating closely with families and classroom teachers.
I am passionate about building strong foundations in literacy, early math, and social-emotional development. I believe that young children learn best in a joyful, structured environment where they feel safe, seen, and encouraged to grow. My goal is to nurture confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning in every child.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and continuing to grow as both an educator and lifelong learner.
I look forward to partnering with the wonderful students and families of The French School this year!
